Project Selection- Magazine

I think writing a newspaper whould be very interseting. There are lots of interesting aspects of printing a story that intrest me. For example the amount of reaserach that the reporters do is really interesting and somthing that I would like to try. Like in All the Presidents Men the amount of reserch and planing that went into to their storys that they wrote was just astonishing. This intrests me becuase it seems fun but I dont know how hard it would be. I dont know if the project is right for me but I do have some qualitys that I think would suit this project. My tenacity would definatly fit this project, if there is a story that needs to be found than I will go find it.  An aspect of the project that would be hard for me is the amount of research that would be needed for each story. Although I will try really hard to get the storys I dont think that I posses the amount  of ability to really reach deep into the story.

Research Revision #1

When doing a project it is very important to do revisions. If you do not your project will not be at its best and quite frankly may just be bad. When I had constructive tips given to me I knew I couldn't let them go to waste. There was some very good feedback and revisions that I got from my teacher and classmates.  The Most important revision that I had seemed to be a little unanimous between my classmates and teacher. It was to make the magazine more eye grabbing, this is really important because it literally brings in the reader and almost forces them to keep reading. And what was explained to me was that it could come in many ways including adding more pictures, crazier fonts and more color in general. In recognition to this you can see my revisions below. With this Information I know my magazine will improve massively and lead to our magazines success. A final question to ask yourself when reflecting on your work is what kind of technologies you used in your process. For example I might reflect on what kind of technologies I used in my project that made it the most successful. I used  the program we used was Microsoft Publisher. It was great and really made it easy to make a magazine. All aspects of the magazine through the cover to the stories were all made on publisher. The second Software we used was Microsoft Excel. This program was used for creating the storyboards and plans. This helped us a ton because without his we would've been totally lost and not had any of our project in order. Both of these programs helped us exponentially with creating and producing the final product.
