Research Revision #2


There was some very good feedback and revisions that I got from my teacher and classmates.  The second most important revision was the one I got from my teacher. He told me that the background colors of the page should be white. This is for two major reasons, I learned later. One is because the color in the background may be too overwhelming for the reader. I understand that the last blog purely talked about how the page need to invite and excite the reader more, but according to my teacher this was too over the top. Secondly this is very important because although money is space, you need good white space so you lead the reader into what you want them to see. If you don't the reader may get confused and not clearly understand you magazines articles. Lastly this is important because color paper is really expensive and having white paper would make the cheaper and lead to the success of the magazine.

When doing a project it is very important to do revisions. If you do not your project will not be at its best and quite frankly may just be bad. When I had constructive tips given to me I knew I couldn't let them go to waste. There was some very good feedback and revisions that I got from my teacher and classmates.  The Most important revision that I had seemed to be a little unanimous between my classmates and teacher. It was to make the magazine more eye grabbing, this is really important because it literally brings in the reader and almost forces them to keep reading. And what was explained to me was that it could come in many ways including adding more pictures, crazier fonts and more color in general. In recognition to this you can see my revisions below. With this Information I know my magazine will improve massively and lead to our magazines success. A final question to ask yourself when reflecting on your work is what kind of technologies you used in your process. For example I might reflect on what kind of technologies I used in my project that made it the most successful. I used  the program we used was Microsoft Publisher. It was great and really made it easy to make a magazine. All aspects of the magazine through the cover to the stories were all made on publisher. The second Software we used was Microsoft Excel. This program was used for creating the storyboards and plans. This helped us a ton because without his we would've been totally lost and not had any of our project in order. Both of these programs helped us exponentially with creating and producing the final product.
